is it even possible to have a healthy balanced say 2500 cal day and not go over your sugar levels on here? the suggested limit seems impossibly low, especially since everything practically seems to be loaded with sugar (or if not fat/other carbs/sodium).
anyone eat over 2k cals a day and still manage to eat under mfps recommended level? if so how? I'm a veggie as well dunno if that's important for sugar though

Unless you have a medical reason to keep sugar low I wouldn't worry about it.0

As long as the sugar comes mostly from natural sources (fruit etc) as opposed to processed foods, I don't care. In fact, I removed the sugar column from my tracker.0

Tell me about it! Here I've been worrying for years about my salt intake yet I'm frequently under on that yet blow out most of my sugar allowance on what I thought was a healthy breakfast. My sugar killers are not sweet foods, it's the milk or yoghurt (which is unsweetened Greek) that surprised me most. I am not too worried though - I've always been told that the sugar you're currently processing is the first to get burnt off, so a sugar-heavy start to the day is ok in my book. I try to avoid sugary snacks before bed and save sweet treats for the days I'm running.0

im like everyone else on here...I had a banana and some greek yogurt, and some almond milk and Im over...Im over everyday no matter how many calories I eat...no worries as long as it comes from healthy foods, its alright...and youre body will process the surgar from processed food differently than natural foods...0

yeah i looked at the sugar in greek yoghurt and I got thinking man if it tastes this bitter with that much sugar in it, it must be needed, I'd hate to think what it was like without it (probably loaded with fat and sodium instead anyways)0
