Heart rate monitors

Good morning! I'm looking into buying a heart rate monitor this week and I was wondering what most people have. I don't mind investing in a quality product but it has to work properly. Any advice or recommendations?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Polar FT4 is what my wife and I use. We've had it for over a year, and it's working out pretty well. We even use it to gauge which cardio machines at the gym have decent HRM programs built into them.
You also may want to check out some youtube video reviews/tutorials on some products that you're looking at to see if they look right for you.0 -
Anything by Garmin.
Check out DC Rainmaker's blog for incredibly in depth HRM reviews. I'm not affiliated to him in anyway, just think he does great reviews of Triathlon and running kit, including watches.0 -
I have the Polar H1 that comes with the RS200 watch. If you want to use it with your smart phone, I'd look at the H7. I have had no issues with mine in 5 years other than battery replacement.0

I have the Polar FT4 and love it. It's very easy to set up and operate, even for me. I got mine on eBay for about $80.0

Thank you everyone!0
