I am doing my first ever 5K April 13. Its the local Shriners Shuffle 2K/5K Run/Walk..

I talked my son into doing it with me. We are going to do the 5K.I am sure it will be more walking than running, But at least I can say I did it. I am nervous though.

I'll be doing my first race ever this spring!

    5/11 - Color Run

Can't wait! I used to be the last kid in school to finish the mile waaaay last. I've been training on the treadmill with an incline (2.0 @ 6.2 mph for 25 min straight through), so we'll see how this goes. :)

Harlan Hustle 5k - April 20th (my first ever race)
Color Me Rad - May 11th
    Glow Run - August 17th

I am hoping to hit a 10k at some point. Right now just trying to run a full 5k (almost there :) )

Last year at this time I wouldn't have even considered running...let alone running a 5k or more. I know it's not a big deal for many people...but it is a HUGE deal for me. :)

Right on! Sounds like a NSV to me!

I'm in Washington state and I'm doing: Warrior Dash in July, Zombie Run in August, and Hell Run in September. These are all mud run/obstacle courses....LOVE them!!

Ah, Zombie Run. Need to add one of these this year.
