best alcohol during the day

I enjoy a little gin (love bombay sapphire) with my mid-day beverage. I feel its a good pick me up and from what i read it really isnt bad at all as far as the calories. a co-worker recently said that i should try vodka, as their is less of a detectable smell from vodka but is still a nice mid-day kick.
Im trying to find the most healthy spirit, that is hardest to detect in a workplace type environment. lower carbs woudl be better since im trying to get in shape.
Thanks!

This thread is already so full of win and this is only post 2.....
You could go 'old-schoolteacher' - whiskey in a coffee mug
or
Swift pint in the pub round the corner.
or
The 'total disguise' - vodka in your coffee.
I used to work in an office as a 19 yr old and the boss would put a of bottles of lager in the fridge on a friday and you could drink as you liked whilst you worked in the afternoon. Happy days!0 -
A glass of wine during the afternoon hours is perfect.0

This thread is awesome. I only drink vodka. I'm allowed to drink on lunch breaks so drinking during work hours doesn't mean anything bad for me, assuming you aren't a school bus driver, have at it.0

I used to work for the gov't so it was very hard to cross over to going out for drinks with clients during the day.0 -
Hot Chocolate and buttershots. Mmm mmm.0
-
Beer
Preferably Mexican.0 -
Refuse meetings. Drink all the alcohol.
We fired a bartender for Vodka/Coffees. That whole "can't smell it"? Yeah, it's right up there with "Carbs are the reason you're fat."
Tell that to a cop, "But, officer, I hab onie had one beeeerrr." What?
I drink Tequila or craft beer. I don't discriminate on the time.0 -

My old spanish teacher did this with coffee brandy.0 -
Vodka straight out of the freezer0
-
Cocktails or beer.0
-
Margarita rimmed with bath salts0

Try pure alcohol. Unpolluted by either smells or tastes. Undetectable. Until you photocopy your *kitten* and either try and snog/kill your boss.0
-
also have you tried "butt-chugging" this stops the nosy bosses from being able to smell / brethalize you0
-
I think a better question to ask is "Where's the closest meeting?"0
-
Vodka tampons. You're welcome.0

Margarita rimmed with bath salts0

Why are you guys drinking mid-day. I hope your not working?0

Get back in your seat the fasten seat belt sign is lit0 -
I suggest you try vodka in a flask. My students get away with it all the time!
Wait, nope, that's a lie.0 -
If you need to drink on your lunch hour, you need to start looking for a job that doesn't drive you to drink.0
-
Nobody will notice...drink up:drinker:0

Continue on with a good gin martini. Or just get a 12 oz bottle rather than a full pint of beer with your lunch. In either case, if you are very concerned, rinse with a bit of Listerine. You can clean off the garlic breath too!0
