Does anyone know why I don't get any extra calories when I do strength training?
Also, I find that when I just eat right (the allowed calories) without exercise, i see a bigger weight loss on
the scale than when I exercise and eat right. Should I not be exercising at first?

to get exercise calories from strength training, you need to enter "Strength training" under the cardio section. strange place I know, but true!0

weird, i am the opposite. when I don't watch what I eat and exercise, i lose...it makes no sense to me and I don't make it a habit!0

Could possibly be because muscle weighs more than fat so if you are building muscle, but losing fat, you won't show as much of a weight loss. I hope this helps.0

I notice the same effects.. I try to make my strength training as aerobic as possible.0
