Healthy Study Snacks

I went back to school last fall and spent the first semester snacking on peanut M&Ms, Twizzlers, Jalepeno Chedder Cheetos and tons and tons of coke. I find it helps me to remember when I eat while studying.

Any suggestions for low fat, low cal snacks that I can munch while trying to absorb revenue and cost curves (ugh)?

Thanks bunches!!

    try.....
    celery with peanut butter
    pretzels
    nuts

and I am a huge soda drinker when I am stressed...Dr Pepper is my "comfort food" so maybe try Dr Pepper 10 ( I hated diet sodas but this one is pretty darn good) or maybe water with Mio or crystal light in it

I think the biggest thing is measure your snacks out and put them in baggies so you know what and how much you are eating.

First off, plan, cook and eat full meals. Other than that fresh fruit, greek yogurt, cheese sticks, cottage cheese, and hard boiled eggs. Then make sure you take frequent study breaks and go for a run or walk.

Perhaps you can switch it up for air popped popcorn, grapes, strawberries, carrot sticks (or other veggies you may like) Something that will give you the satisfaction of munching, with out the cals of say a bag of m&ms.
Of course it takes some prep and not usually available out of a vending machine. Though I find many places now offer more ready to eat fruit and veggies :)

fruits and veggies. I'm a sucker for mini rice cakes and ritz bits with cheese. Everything in moderation~

    low fat string cheese
    yogurt (maybe with granola)
    trail mix or nutes
    edamame
    low calorie popcorn

personally, i like things that i can kind of "pick" on while im studying...

    Frozen grapes

Rice cakes (with a mashed banana and cinnamon on top)

    Clementines / mandarins

Smorgasbord - prawns, egg, tomato, avocado, smoked salmon on rye crackers

Cottage cheese with fruit (pineapple, melon, strawberries all good)
