Absolutely your HRM, especially if you have a chest strap. Make sure it is programmed correctly with your info, weight, height, etc., and you should be dead on.0

I was just about to ask a similar question. I have an elliptical machine at home, and I use it fairly regularly. I use the chest strap HRM and my workouts show 150 to 200 calories less than what the site says for the same time frames. As much as I'd love the extra credit  I don't want to hinder my own progress. I guess the consensus would be to go with my machine rather than the site???? :flowerforyou:0

The site can take your weight into consideration, but not your overall heath and fit levels. Your HRM beats with your heart and can tell how much your blood is pumping and thus how how many calories you're burning. Good luck!0
