    Heres my favorite...

    1 cup peanut butter
    1 cup honey
1 cup oats (I put a little more)
    I cup dried cranberries
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts
    1/2 chopped almonds
    1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Melt honey and pb on stove. Mix all other ingredients together, poor honey and pb over it. Let it cool for a little bit, mix in chocolate chips, or you can put those on top after you put it in the pan. Press into an 8 x 8ish pan with wax paper underneath. Put in fridge to harden.

    Pecan Coconut Granola

    4 cups old fashioned oats
    1 cup pecans chopped
    1 cup flaked coconut
    1/2 cup wheat germ flakes
    1 cup raisins
    2/3 cups honey
    1 T water
    1 t vanilla
    2 T oil

Put oatmeal, pecans, coconut and wheat germ flakes in a bowl, mix lightly. Stir together honey, water, vanilla, and oil, then combine well with dry mixture. Spread in a 3-quart, lightly oiled baking pan. Bake at 325º for 20-25 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Add raisins after baking. When cool, store in airtight container. Serve with milk or eat as a snack.

    Makes 6 to 8 servings.

I have it in as Jessica's Pecan coconut granola, however I don't have the nutritional for the wheat germ included, I didn't have any at the time! Feel free to change up the fruit and nuts, I do! and coconut is not required! I like mixing 1/4 cup with a serving of corn flakes or special K almond!

This sounds good. I love crunchy stuff..satisfys..I am discouraged until I see how well you all are doing on this message board. I have lost only 13 pounds - since Jaunuary. I am not trying hard enough. I need to do better. :

I put it in a recipe engine once and I believe the calories were around 180 for around a 2 x 2 inch square, they are a little high due to the peanut butter but they are great for before workouts or after and they keep you full... you could take out the chocolate chips too. Enjoy!

I just made a big batch this past weekend! It's delish with almond milk...

    6c old-fashioned oats
    1c wheat germ
    1c hulled pumpkin seeds, raw
    6tbsp flax meal
    2 tbsp cinnamon
    1/3c egg white
1/3c sugar-free french vanilla syrup (Da Vinci)
    6tbsp pumpkin butter

Mix all well and bake at 250* for an hour. Stir and bake another hour (I use two large rimmed baking sheets). It makes 14 2/3c servings and each serving is about 242 calories, 34 carbs, 8 fat, 10 protein, 5 sugar and 6 fiber.

Love, love, love me some homemade granola!
