Alas, all I can claim is a meagre 4% since New Year's Day. It looks even less impressive at 6.9% since I began. Ah, such are the whims of the Fates in whose destiny our achievements lie.:indifferent:

    8.11% since 1/1/13.

Beat biggest loser totals. Yay, me!

I don't have a ton to lose, but I have to work a lot harder for it. Gained .5 inches of muscle in my quads, arms, and legs, lost 2" in my stomach area. SLOW GOING--I'll celebrate any good stat at all.

Check your progress and report so we can all cheer for you, too: http://www.fitwatch.com/qkcalc/calculate-weight-loss-percentage.html

Great job! I am not doing so great, but a loss, is a loss so for that I can be thankful. It is not a gain and I am not maintaining so I deserve a cheer. I have lost only 6 lbs. But, I'll take it! I have 24 to go.

For those depressed over lower percentages, try to remember a heavier person is going to lose a smaller percentage compared to a smaller person, even if they lose the same amount of weight.

If someone weighs 300 pounds and loses 20 pounds, they've lost 6%.

If someone weighs 200 pounds and loses 20 pounds, they've lost 10%.

That's awesome! Keep it up! I wish I could lose that much that fast! I am down 23 lbs in about the same amount of time. I exercise the same as you and watch everything I eat. I guess this just goes to show that every body is different.

An update - A month ago I had lost just 7% body weight since starting in late Nov 2012. Now I'm just over 10%, so the pounds are beginning to fall off again.
