So proud of myself

We had a picnic at work today and I usually go way overboard on these things, eating too much bad food, taking a few desserts (I don't always eat this way, I just do really bad at potlucks). But today I had roast beef without the bun (it was even on my plate but I didn't eat it), veggies, fruit, a tiny bit of pasta salad and diet pop instead of regular. I did get dessert, but it was cool whip with snickers chunks (equivalent to probably one fun sized snickers bar), probably one of the less evil desserts.

So if I logged everything correctly, I can still have dinner AND 100 calories left over. I also did not feel sick and full afterward which is the usual after a potluck

Good work! I also find picnics and BBqs very hard to deal with, I just graze and graze.

I am SUPER proud of you!!! Pot lucks are also a very difficult time for me. :( You did amazing! I did okay at the last one I attended but I could still do much better. Thanks for sharing and WAY TO GO!!! :flowerforyou:

Congrats, Its always hard when you got all the good stuff just laid out in front of you. I've got a buiness get together at a baseball game tonight and I was just thinking how its going to turn out with hot dogs, hamburgers and a cash bar. Nothing remotely healthy about those picks but I'll do the best I can.

I think that you should be VERY proud of yourself! It's so hard when you're in a social situation like that, everyone is eating, everything looks good, and because you're usually visiting with friends alot of time you're not paying any attention to what goes into your mouth. Good job!
