Any straight backers on MFP?

I find it easier to walk around with my back straight. Plus I can reach things in my cabinets above the counters. Anyone else prefer this lifestyle?

I am proud to say after many years as a flat on my backer, I am now a straight backer. It is my preferred lifestyle but I do aspire to being a backbender for short periods of time. Backbend thread... it's a great place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.0

I had back ribs for lunch. Does that count for anything? ( although to honest they were more bent than straight)0

What do you mean by back straight? Shoulders back, pelvis rotated forward, etc?I find it easier to walk around with my back straight. Plus I can reach things in my cabinets above the counters. Anyone else prefer this lifestyle?0

Hey OP
I'm a fellow straight backer. I have been my whole life. My dad was, so was his dad. Family tradition I guess.
Good to see that there are some fellow straight backers on here to help share experiences and give each other support.

Snap, me too! In fact I'm better at being straight backed than the other options.0

Well, I try, but as you can see from this recent picture of me, I am only at the beginning of my straight backer journey. Wish me luck!!0

This is a bit difficult to admit on a public forum, and most of my friends don't even know it yet, but at night I like to explore the alternative lifestyle of a flat backer. :blushing:
Oh my God, that felt so good to finally get that out! I feel so liberated!0 -

Should've asked the pig when you had the chance. Now we'll never know.0 -

How you doin'?0 -
Yes, I back straight people. They did not choose their orientation so they should be treated like anyone else (as long as they don't force their agenda down my throat).0

I have always walked around with my back str8 shoulders back and head up no matter how bad your confidence is you still have to be proud of the person you are (to me it is as bad as being dirty! You look scruffy when you slouch!)0

I was gonna say that, since I support GLBT rights, I must be a gay backer. But you said it better.0 -

Thank you. As a minority we need the extra support. Sometimes when I look around it seems that all I see are backbenders. And it really bothers me that I can't even look them in the eye, & all I see are crotches. Damn crotches protruding everywhere! It's disturbing, I tell you!0 -

Look, there's nothing wrong with your natural orientation. I know some people think it's lack of proper nurturing, but I say you can't change who you are. God loves backbenders too, just maybe not quite as much.0 -
shi* i'm a lean backer.......0

Now that I have good posture people think that I'm a douche.0

Being a straight backer takes hard work and determination. I do not give in to back bending peer pressure0
