I'm new . . . . Any advice

Hello All,

My name is Heather and I am 26 years old. I have had problems in the past with weight but would rather have back my pre-baby body than what I have now. I currently weight about 168 but weighed 140 before I had two kids. After I had my first, I got back down to 140 but after my second, I can't seem to get it off. . . . . . Any advice would be great!!!!

Thanks,

Heather

you should read about staci. she is awesome. she inspired me to start hitting the weights.

Heather...YO!! Welcome to MFP!! I've been here over a year and here's my advice:

    1. Eat your exercise calories
    2. Lift weights
    3. Don't deprive yourself (just stay in your macros and eat normal foods...don't diet)
    4. Be patient and have faith. This program works and it will change your life if you let it.
    5. Never stop learning...If something doesn't work for you, tweak it, change it, research it...but NEVER give up.

oh...and btw, I'm also a TX girl who's had 2 kiddos and started here at 163 lbs...so if I can do it at age 36, you can damn well do it...so DO IT. :)

Capt Apollo, is that your girlfriend or something? She looks great, but what in the WORLD does she have to do with this thread--and I keep seeing her pop up in other threads... are you okay??

no. i'm not the guy that posts pictures of his girlfriend on the site. that's another dude.

and the girl asked for advice. didn't ask for anything specific, so i gave her the story of a girl whos is about her age and weight, and her successes.

Heather, myself, I try not to eat the exercise calories. Don't get discouraged. Hang in there, you will do just fine! And they are great about giving advise here.
