strength training at home.

My current workout consists of:

4 days (1 hr. each) doing intervals on the treadmill.
2 days (45 min. each) of kickboxing class

I want to incorporate strength training for better results, but I don't know where to begin.

I'm still slightly intimidated by the gym, so I'd like to find some things I can do at home.

Suggestions please.

Yep, a great way to start strength and a great way to continue for life. Bodyweight training never runs out of ways to keep the resistance up. It's a path for life - and a great way to start!

Convict Conditioning is not as bad as it may sound. Good sound training tips and schedules from beginner to seasoned strength trainer. Loads of ways to begin and some exercises you will spend your whole life training for.

I started with Kelly Coffey-Meyers Weights and loved it! Then I bought Kelly Coffey-Meyers LIFT and Muscle Definition! Check it out! I love her workouts and look forward to them! The difference in my body since starting strength training is pretty amazing! Don't forget to take measurements and pics before you start! Good luck! :)
