More than halfway there, just got to ONE-derland

I've been on my journey to be healthy since 2010 (but really, all my life). I've been obese for most of my life. I'm tired of using it as an excuse to not live, so I started getting rid of the excess weight. Today I stepped on the scale and entered ONE-derland. I started at 276 lbs. and weigh 199.8 today. I went from size 22 to size 14 (which are loose). I keep finding myself in the Plus Size clothing even though I don't wear those sizes. Totally bizarre how it takes longer for the brain to adjust to change!
"before" pics. August 2010.
March 5, 2013. I will take pics tonight before I work out since it's a major goal achieving day!!
I'm competing in the $10,000 Magic Valley Weight Loss Challenge and right now I'm feeling pretty good about my chances of winning a cash prize! 3 months to go!!

How tall are you?? I'm not quite 5'6" and I'm around 176 now. I go to the store and try on jeans out of curiosity of what sizes fit best. I'm still not comfortably in a size 14 lol. If i can make it into a very loose 12 or a nice fitting 10 I think I will be happy and confident at that size and ready to learn to maintain my weight at that point. Great job and can't wait to see the rest of your pics!0

am not the OP, but I am 5'6", 176 lb and wear 12 in Levi's curve id. There was a thread about a month ago that people posted their jeans size and height weight, if you want to get for reference, also search for 5'6" in search for a similar thread a few months ago as well.0 -
well done girl!! absolutely amazing stuff0

WooHoo! That's awesome, girl! We are changing our bodies, but it really is about changing our brains too! Thanks for being an inspiration!0

I'm just under 5'5". My mom wears the same size as I do right now, and she's 165 pounds or less. Bodies are just shaped so differently it's amazing! I've lost a lot of fat in my butt and thighs!! I wear Levi's too. And Old Navy Flirt jeans.0

Sorry, accidentally replied to this with my hubby's account lol.
It really is crazy how people of all different weights can range in size so much! I guess it shouldn't matter what size the tag says as long as you look the way you want to and feel great about it0 -
I'm 5ft 7", 174.8lbs and wearing a UK14 (US10) which are sometimes loose dependent on style.0

Good Job! I am also out of the plus sizes but I still seem to migrate to that area of the stores as well! I don't know when that will stop but isn't it a nice thing to have to adjust to? Again, congrats!0
