Hi ladies has any body got the copper coil and did affect you when squatting? it gives me period pains when I do my work out! Has any body found a way for it not to hurt or am I just going to have to man up an face the pain? X

I don't have experience with this, but I think you should give your doctor a call to be on the safe side. Pain combined with an IUD could potentially be perforation of the uterus, although I imagine that would be a sharp pain and not dull cramping. I would just call and ask about the IUD in conjunction with exercising (and squats in particular). I have heard that the copper IUD can cause heavier, more painful periods.0

but if I over do it I'm in pain ...having a toddler I'm for ever picking toys up an that's painful to like strong period pains ... I know when it's moved out of place because I get a sharp pain a d I fix it bk but sqautting kills me and I'm doing the 30 day squat challenge x

I would definitely see the dr, I have an iud and can not feel it. To my understanding, you shouldn't be able to "fix" it either, it seems it may be out of place. It definitely shouldn't be moving around. If its not in place, it's probably not as effective either, so you should def use backup bc until you see the doctor.0

It only moves out of place when my daughter nocks it which is probley twice a week it's been like this since I got it a year ago but it dosant half give me problems but only birth control that has me safe x0

Definitely go to the doctor. Nothing should be knocking it out of place. I have had a mirena IUD in the past and could not feel it at any time.0
