    Oh wow!
That's actually a harsh marketing strategy - 'Hey, wanna target fatties with low self esteem? I know where to advertise! '

Sod that - we're doing great without that junk!

I'm pretty sure MFP's advertisements are targeted, so they're based on your browser cookies, not anything MFP decides. Have you been searching for or reading about fast food? I get a lot of clothing ads, dietary supplement/protein powder ads, weight-loss-secret ads, etc, all based on my search history and the amount of time I spend browsing the forums here. Although after I clicked on the "do you care if your SO watches porn" thread in the chit-chat forums yesterday, I've been being stalked by sex toy ads.

    Haha!! That made me giggle

Just started checking the adverts on mine and it's loan companies, boiler servicing and diet tips...my browser history is a bit dull, to say the least!

Oh man!!!! I almost choke on my protein shake.

Yes it's targeted. Most sites do that now. Although if I started getting sex toy ads I'd probably have to clear my cookies, browser history and everything else.

Yup. I never get these, but I do get beauty, travel, health/medical - sometimes specifically what I Googled.

Just download AdBlock then you don't get anything at all.

My ads are all for pet care products.

Sorry everybody, I guess I've been talking about my dog too much again. But she's just soooo cute!

    I guess money is money.

When I need an icecream fix, I order the Jr. size Frosty at Wendy's. The kids menu isn't all bad :)

I just get ads for clothes and shoes - I guess that says it all.
