Whats that one food that is the exception to every rule?

What is one food that you will allow yourself to go over your calorie limits with, and completely indulge in?

If you do indulge, how do you make up for it? Or do you even worry about it?

Pizza. 2 slices just don't cut it. 4 is usually good. I don't eat it every week, so when I do, I don't sweat it . It is more like a once a month treat.

I don't have foods, I have occasions: I will set MFP aside once in a great while to spend an evening sampling a little of everything that my friends have made.

:) I am a MAJOR, MAJOR Sweets-a-holic. It's so hard for me to turn down anything sugary, haha. :) Like...chocolate cake <3
I usually have ONE sweet thing a day- but always make sure to burn off the calories! :)

Also, PIZZA is my favorite food :) I am such a fat kid.

I would say Mexican food - usually a Pork burrito or Carnitas becuase i'm going to want to have everything that goes with it. I usually can plan if Im going to do that and adjust my calories and exercise to accomodate the extra calories. I drink a lot of water anyway but I usually try and make sure I'm drinking it.

I second this. Plus it's so high-protein that I can justify it? Shoooot, pass that this way.

    Cake. And pizza.
  • I wouldn't say that mine is actually a single food. My church has a potluck every week, so I usually just don't worry about my calorie intake for that day. I'm not a very heavy eater anyway (I have no idea how I got the extra 40 pounds), and I'm highly active, so I'm probably not going horribly overboard on calories. Not to mention the effort of trying to figure out exactly what everything is as I'm eating it takes all the fun out of hanging out with my church family for a meal.

I don't go over but I ALWAYS have a bowl of Reese's Puffs in the morning despite how horrifically bad they are. If I denied myself my favorite first thing in the morning, I'd fail immediately.

okay okay... key lime pie. I'll risk a diabetic coma if there's a key lime pie near me. I recently had a slice of frozen, chocolate dipped key lime pie on a stick in St. Augustine. Yeeeeaaahh... diet and diabetes can go to Hell.

Pez. It's my new candy of choice. They are low in calories and fills my cravings if I have one.

I have a favorite restaurant that has an amazing buffet. I record my calories when I eat there, but I don't stress about them. Then I eat when I'm hungry for the rest of the week. I usually make up for the extra 300 by the end of the week, but I don't actively try to deny myself. I allow myself the treat about once a month.
