I'm 5'7" and net 1050 6days a week and 2300 one day a week. (1220 daily average).
Going to do maintenance to gain muscle since I'm skinny enough, but curious about others intake.

~1800-2300; maintaining 125-130 lbs for 2.5 years. Body fat somewhere around 22%.
I've been lifting moderate weights off & on (more off because of injury). I lost my weight at 1700-2000, with moderate circuits/cardio 3x/week (didn't look at net calories).0 -

Quite a lot of people have had similar experiences! I believe there's a group here called 'eat more to lose more'.
(I used another site, for my weight loss.)
I found that a very slight deficit from food, combined with regular activity, was easy to live with - had tons of energy for everything in life. The days I went as low as even 1600 were hard for me, so I didn't try it for long0 -

You could be eating much more at 5'7". You are also aiming for a very low weight - 48kg at that height gives you a BMI of around 16.5. This is unhealthy and potentially dangerous.0 -

I eat 1400 plus exercise calories. My BMI is 29.0

1718 and my bmi is 32.9. Honestly I think its bs though because I wear a size 12 and I am 210lbs. I have some serious muscles going on under that layer of fat too. haha. I work out 6 days a week burning around 1000+ HRM calories a day.
I still want to lose 40lbs to reach my first goal weight of 170. I should*** be in a size 8-10 jean then.0 -
I eat 1300-1400 plus exercise calories and have been steadily losing about 1 lb a week. BMI now 24.1. Started at MFP's 1200 but felt that was too low so upped it after a couple of weeks.0

Try to net 1690 on non-exercise days. I net a lot less on exercise days (maybe between 1000-1400, depending on how much exercise I've done) but my actual intake on those days tends to hit 1900, sometimes a lot more (particularly Sundays when I burn 1000 calories!)0

I'm 5'8 and eat between 1700 and 1800 a day - losing about a pound a week. Burn an extra 2500 or so calories a week running.0

I've just started on 1730cals a day averaged out over the week (exercise 3x a week). I was eating 1410 a day and found that I wasn't losing weight and didn't eat back my exercise gains.0 -
I'm 5'9". I just upped my cals from 1800 to 2000/day (not eating exercise cals back) because I was losing faster than I wanted.0

I'm still at the beginning of my journey - but I'm averaging about 1500 calories a day. I'm waiting for the nice weather (and opening of our pool) to start exercising, at which point the plan is to not eat the exercise cals back, but we'll see. I find this interesting, I am 5'8" weigh 206lb and am a size 16/18. Are you talking British 12 or American.0 -
I am at 1775, lowest ever was 1586 before I realized my BMR is about 1650. BF% is 26.70 at 182lbs. Maintnance is around 2300 for me right now. I also do eat back.0

Hi, I'm 5'7", I eat at 1520 a day, muscle class twice a week, cardio three times a week (hopefully). I am losing about 3/4 lb every two weeks. Firming up and losing lbs slowly but surely. I am at 151, down to 149 as of today(!), under 150 for the first time in 5 years. Not for lack of trying!0

Very similiar! I'm 5'7 and 151 right now. Just want out of the 150's SO BAD. Losing slowly, lifting weights 3x/week and staying around 1500-1550 day.

I'm 5'7 and I eat 2000 calories per day (net about 1650) I'm currently doing Insanity which requires high calorie intake but I'm losin inches like crazy!! :happy:0

If you want to tone up, then you should be eating at your maintenance level. TDEE.
Me, for now, just trying to loose weight but build lean body mass. I'm around netting 1550 on non-workout days and eating 2000 to net around 1600 on workout days.0 -

You've gotta have a ton of muscle .. To fit into a size 12 at 210 pounds, that's amazing, lol I'm just under 200 and still can't get into a 14!0 -

its so funny how shapes and sizes are so different. I am 220 and depending on the shorts/pants, still wear 18 maybe 20? I am 5'9" so I keep thinking I should be in way smaller....lol...maybe I need to actually go shopping and see. I have a pair of levis that are 17 jr and I fit in those but the other day I tried on a pair of 20 shorts (zip up type) and they fit, not overly lose either.....sigh.......0 -

I'm 5'6andthreequarters currently at 165 and dropping, eating 1500/day plus exercise (which ive sorta let slide ) I'm in an 8/10 dress size, and 10/12 pant size. I want to get to 140 but idk if thats realistic with the increased bust size since I last weighed that little. I know you are going to say I will lose that but I wont--when I lose weight my bust doesnt move. 90% of any weight gain I ever have goes to my tummy/gut/muffintop/spare tire region, with the remaining spread out on my face, arms, and upper thighs.0

I'm 5'6 (AND A HALF!) 125 lbs (20.2 BMI) and WAS eating 1200 per day, seeing no results and going to bed hungry (oooor just getting to the point of so hungry I would start eating everything in my fridge).
I upped my intake to 1450, and I usually don't eat that much (leaving room in case that 5 oz piece of fish was actually 6 oz and what not). I feel a lot better KNOWING I can eat more, but still stay around 1300. I usually don't eat back my exercise calories, but on exercise days I feel ok eating the full 1450.
Upping your intake is hard, because it seems backwards, but I've been losing (little by little) more consistantly now, and feel much much better!0 -
I'm 5'6" and I am on 1200 calories a day. I have more wieght to lose and not able to walk at this time because of the weather. I will be hitting the road as soon as it warms up a little. I have about 44 more pounds to lose and will probably stay under a 2000 calorie limit for a while.0
