daily protein recommended very low?

Hi guys im new to myfitnesspal just need some help understanding this. Im 180 pnds around 10 percent body fat. Im trying to gain weight hit 190. On my daily macro its telling me I only need to eat 114 grams of protein. Why is that? Shouldnt it be atleast 1 gram protien per body weight maybe even more.

yes it should, you might want to consider changing it to be about 185.0

Hi its 1 gram of protein per lean body mass....You can check numerous websites or Google to calculate you lean body mass...All the best!You can custom change the MFP settings by changing your goal settings.0

MFP gives you the minimum. Feel free to up your protein intake to 1900

Try adjusting your macros to 40% carbs, 30% protein, and 30% fat. It should put you right around the 180-185 range for protein.0

you can go in and change your marcos. for some reason the preset is always low. mine is 40/40/30 c/p/f0
