What's Considered A NSV?

Yesterday I went to Walmart to get a couple pair of work pants. I had noticed that my pants were loose on me since losing 16 pounds, but I didn't know if they actually WERE loose, or if I was WANTING them to feel loose.
To make a long story short, I purchased 2 pair of the same exact pants in the next size down - so I guess the other pants really WERE too big for me now.
Is this considered a NSV?
