Weight loss and obsession with the mirror/body

Is it just me or the more weight you lose you get an increasingly-irresistible urge to look at your body in the mirror and also look down at yourself/feel yourself a lot? It's a double edged sword, you can see yourself looking better or you get depressed at seeing how much you have to lose still. Thoughts?

YES on both of those. Sometimes I look in the mirror and I'm all: DAMN I'M FINE.
But sometimes, I'm all like: "Aw man, I can see EVERY part that I need to work on. :(

Oh yes! I try to catch my reflection wherever and whenever I can  I am not a vain person by any means but I have a clouded view of how I actually look since I lots over 100 pounds. Some days I think I look ok and have came really far but other days I still feel like I look 250 pounds. It's been over two years and I am still waiting for my brain to catch up. When I was big I didn't care nearly as much about how I looked but now I am so mean and judgmental with myself. Definitely my own worst critic!

Yes! I constantly am looking at myself, and taking my picture with my phone. I just need to constantly remind myself what I look like now.

I can agree, I've started looking into the mirror a lot more lately. People at work, my family, and friends have all started commenting on how much better I look compared to last year. That's probably a big reason why I'm doing it because I always hated myself in the mirror.

I like looking at myself in the mirror much more now and I am always touching myself (not in a sexual way)...feeling my collar bones, my ribs, hip bones, etc.
