Feeling Discouraged :(

Hey there,
I seem to be losing motivation. I constantly go over my designated calorie intake- which is 1550 plus exercise calories. I have been weighing myself more often and I have gained three pounds in about 1-3 weeks. I am getting really worked up which is making me eat even more.
How can I stop this and get back on the right track?

How about exercising more or what I do is log it before I shove it in my mouth :) I tend to compare how much things are calorie wise for snacks etc :)

I have found to not weigh more than once a week! It will get you discouraged!!! I agree with tracking it in before i eat it! It keeps you aware of how much calories you are fixing to eat!! I know how you feel about getting discouraged, just think about the end result!!! Also, try to change up your exercise! :)

Maybe try drinking more liquids: big, huge classes of water before a meal so you feel more satiated with less. I'm into the volume of food (I like to eat all day), so I like eating big salads with lots of leafy greens, which fills me up better than say, a Lean Cuisine.

Also, when I feel lacking in motivation, I read fitness/health magazines while working out for inspiration. Or, if you don't want to spend money on consumable reading material, try Pinterest--SUPER motivating!

Good luck and try to stop stressing! Keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat:)
