I would just like to introduce myself and say hi to everyone
I downloaded the app for this site awhile ago and never really did anything with it then other than to input my current weight and then kinda forgot about it.. Well lately I've been watching old episodes of The Biggest Loser and decided that it's about time LOL
Since that first day that I downloaded the app I've lost a little bit of weight mostly because I quit drinking pop (that's a good first step, right?) Now I'm focused on trying to eat healthier and work out more. I'm trying to lose 50 lbs from my initial weigh in and I haven't really set a time limit for it.. I want to get a feel for a new routine and hope that it's something I can maintain before I start setting time limits on anything.
My fiance (as of tomorrow husband, yup we're getting married tomorrow!) and I are both doing this. He is focusing on monitoring his calorie intake and building muscle and I am focused on losing the fat I've gained from a combination of having 3 kids, trying to eat the same foods I did as a teenager and general inactivity. I will admit it makes it a lot easier to have someone walking each step with me.
As of this morning I'm down 6 lbs from my last weigh in and that is mostly due to the increase of water and activity. I'm not logging the weight until tomorrow because my fiance and I are doing it together.
I've tried to set realistic diet plans. I stay around my 1200/day calorie intake and sometimes go over but I do get cardio in pretty much every day. I have time limits on how much exercise I can do with kids and life and such but I think I'm doing pretty good so far.
So anywho, sorry for the rambling but here I am and look forward to sharing my journey with everyone

Good Morning,
First off, congrats on getting married! I know how hard it is to get started, im in the same boat. As well as having a busy life and children. I have 2, my baby, is about to be 5 months old and my big boy is 3 years old. Im also just getting started and know that motivation is the key, and someone to be by your side telling you how proud of you they are is always a huge help! i sent you a friend request, so maybe we can chat back and forth! I wish you the best of luck! Again congrats on the wedding! im sure you will make a beautiful bride. Maybe you can post some pictures of your wedding on your site and then once you start losing weight you can look back and see how awesome you did!!!! Have a wonderful wednesday!

I added a photo of me at Halloween this year and that was at the 200lb mark.. I hated that pic because I thought I looked pregnant and since my youngest is 3 now that's not a good thing LOL
I'm hanging on to that pic though because I plan on doing a side by side when I hit my goal whenever that happens to be0
