    Tell her no.
  • Tell her you're uncomfortable, because it's such an important day for her, but there are lots of helpful tutorials on Pinterest.

I'm gonna feel so bad if i tell her no because she's skint but I dont wanna do it and she hates it :/ Is Pinterest like youtube?
  • Pinterest is like every internet blog for crafts/hair/nails/make-up/decorating, etc. all threw up in one centralized location. Go to www.pinterest.com and type in 'wedding makeup tutorial,' in the search box.

I'm guessing she asked you for a reason, like you usually have fantastic makeup or something. Look around at some tutorials for wedding makeup and get together one day before the wedding to try different looks until she likes one.

Tell her no if you care about her in the slightest and hire a professional to come do her makeup.

Tell her no if you care about her in the slightest and hire a professional to come do her makeup. Trust me doing your own make up and someone else's are two completely different things.

You could get together with her one night for drinks and do her makeup and see how she likes it. No bride should ever wait till the last minute to decide how to do their makeup. WHen I worked in a salon/spa we always had the brides come in a week ahead to do a trial run with hair AND makeup. I did both. If you really don't feel comfortable doing it make sure you're good and drunk on that trial run and really mess it up lol. Take photos so she'll have something to remind her when she's sober and she'll never ask again lol

Have a makeup test girls night. Get a bottle of wine, snacks, facial wipes, makeup, and a camera. Try all sorts of different looks, and photograph all of them. Even the wild crazy ones, it will make a cool photo-book for years to keep. Personally, I think a natural look is best, with light pink cheeks and a neutral eye color. However, everyone is different. Make sure you do all the makeup near good lighting. Getting together will help both of you feel more confident and qualified. Just remember to blend, blend, blend.. Even blush after you apply with a brush, blend it a bit with sponge. It will leave a more natural look. At the end of the evening do a facial mask for both of you and end the night feeling pampered and lots of cool pics.
