Hey, I found this site by a google search and am LOVING the food log app.
Other than that, Im 33 and weigh 205lbs. I gained about 10lbs this winter and am having a heckuva time losing it (doesnt come off like it used to!!). Im 6' and I hold the weight well but I want to nip this in the butt (and literally - my butt and thighs are where I gain a lot of weight!) before boating season.
So far Ive increased my fiber intake significantly. I am ashamed to admit I was eating very little fiber in my daily (deplorable) diet. Oops...lol. :blushing:
I bring the dog for a 4 mile walk usually 3 times per week but this winter has been brutally cold. So Ive been trying to substitute going to the gym for 1.5 hours and using the elliptical and treadmill.
Anyways, Im happy to be here! Looking forward to losing 10lbs for health, and 15lbs more for vanity.

Try walking the dog every day even it is just for a short time. All you have to do a dress warmly. Shoveling snow is also good exercise. Do some strength training, the more muscle you have the more you will beer at rest. Watch out for the liquid calories they add to you calorie intake, but don't fill you up.0
