Body Media Fit help?

Its my first full day wearing the arm band. I'm having a hard time transitioning in my mind from the Polar HR monitor. I have a few questions.

1. Should i no longer make an entry in MFP for my calories burned during work out? It looks like when I upload to my phone it automatically logs here.

2. Is there a place within the app on my phone that lets me see my current heart rate as i'm working out? (I have the LINK) version. I can't seem to find it so i did my workout with both the polar and the bodymedia. It looked almost like it doesnt have an HR function and i'd need to buy a garmin device.

    I have the bodymedia fit as well, and this is what I've got for ya.

    1)No, you do not need to enter in your workouts anymore unless you want to delete what it puts in here (you can go into settings and keep it from putting it on here).

    2) There isn't a HR option in the ap, but it will show you the number of calories burned.
