Injuries and C25K

I started Couch To 5K a while ago and got to the end of week 2 and then pulled a muscle on the front of my calf. I stopped and rested it for about 3 weeks, although I wanted to keep going but it would only get worse.
So I started C25K again recently and I've just finished week one and it's happened again! I'm fed up of it and I just want to keep running.
How do I prevent injuries like this happening? I have been stretching before my workouts...

Yikes I feel your pain. I am just about to start week 3 tomorrow morning. If you have warmed up correctly and have decent shoes and not doing something really daft like running at 20mph then maybe its the way your running? I know my daughters physio has had a few gos at her for her body posture when running...
On the medical side of things....might be worth speaking to a health professional for some advice or a physio...sorry cant help much more than that...good luck...0 -
Thank you very much for your reply, it has helped
