I don't have any pictures and I am by no means done yet. I officially started my journey August 24, 2012. I have fluctuated weight for years and went on WW once and was doing well. My dad died January 2011. I fell into a terrible depression and rapidly gained weight by stuffing my emotions with food. I peaked at 247 in December 2011. I was feeling awful. I was even more miserable. My husband and i decided to accept a job transfer so we moved. I really liked my new home and I knew I needed to make some changes. I lost about 9#. Over the summer I was feeling hopeless and approached my husband about the lap band. I was crushed when he wasn't supportive of it. My husband is overweight but very active and agile, much like a football player. I was embarassed for him to be seen with me. One horrible day we went boating. I was not much help docking the boat because i couldn't move around! Well I was humiliated when i went to help and literally got stuck in between the windows toward the bow. There was a slender mother of four watching and I was so mortified I went home and cried. I spent weeks working with myself mentally and emotionally. I knew my dad would be sad to see what I was doing to myself. Finally i had an aha moment and thats when I finally started. I called a friend and we started together. A month later I officially started with mfp. Since then I have focused on diet and exercise. Today I weigh 192. Every week gets just a little easier. Sorry for such a long story.0

To Mojambo: I really appreciated your story! And congratulations for your weight loss and turning it around! You have a lot to proud of yourself for.
I myself don't really have a story, but I am 5'5.75 and looking to get my body fat percentage down. It fluctuates, but started at about 26%, is about 21% now, and I'd like to see it go down to 18. I am currently 127 pounds and balancing between eating better and lifting more to burn more fat. I like threads like these though, so keep it going!0 -
I am around that height (5 4 to 5 5) and found my best weight is around 120 lbs to 130lbs. (I am a work in progress) Body Space is an interesting website. It shows weights of people at our height and them with different weights. I have friends that would look absolutely amaciated at this weight, so it's definately bone structure ect. I think it's www.bodyspace.com.
So, for 5 5 there is a graph of people 110 lbs, 120lbs, 130 lbs 140lbs and so on.0
