I'm leaving

Yes the subject is right, and not just the group, myfitnesspal too. It would appear I have developed an unhealthy relationship with food and it really came to a head last night when I met with my trainer who is a nutritionist. I don't live to eat, but am not really eating to live either. A quick look at what I was eating established it wasn't anywhere enough for the workouts I was doing let alone a day and when I was told what I need to eat I started to cry. It is a wakeup call that I think I needed and for now I am not to count calories at all, but I am to make smart food choices from the lists I have been given and above all, I am to eat more

I have loved MFP and where it got me, and I think I will be back, and will also no doubt pop in to check on friends but for now I need to leave and do what is right for me.

I wish all the other 'losers' the best of luck in their journeys, this has been a hard slog and even harder decision to leave here for awhile but I am sure in the end I will still reach my goal and be a happier healthier me

Best of luck to you, you need to do whatever works for you to be healthy and have a healthy relationship with food.

MFP is simply another avenue/aid to your weight-loss journey. It didn't create your unhealthy relationship with food so I'd say use both MFP and you new smart foods list to help you instead of shutting one out.

Even if you stop logging in your diary, you can still come here for motivation and getting questions answered etc...

Keep your options open and don't give up on yourself or on us. You probably motivated people on here too!

Maybe you'd be better off staying here tracking that you actually do eat more. Just a thought.
