Hi, Suzybee!
Half a stone is 11 lbs, right? That is good that you are losing extra weight as early as possible.
I have reduced mobility (literally, no abdominal muscles--removed. Plus arthritis and fibromyalghia).
I use:
- walking (even with a cane, walker, or wheelchair--not remote control
- chair exercises:
--- you work your arms (any arm exercises that do not involve legs) and
--- legs (any exercises that do not involve abdominal muscles), and
The point is not to work your arms at the same time you work your legs, but you could adapt this exercise routine to your current situation.
- and, some people like swimming, too.
I can use the muscles on the sides of my torso, so I can do side leg lifts, side bends, and stuff involving those muscles.
In whatever ways you can move, you can move a little faster, and then add a little weight lifting (1 oz to a 1 lb at first).
It can happen. (a quote from "Angels in the Outfield"--a movie).
Hugs. You can do this. :drinker:0 -
Welcome to MFP, Sue! Good luck to you!0
