    Every is doing great! Gtrigg I have been trying to get my sodium under control, but some days it just gets the best of me! At least I am aware the importance of it now, thanks to you!

    I have lost 4.5 pounds so far and just completed week one of Phase One! One more week to go! Hopefully I can drop another 2 pounds, and I will be a happy camper!

    First of all, I am so proud of you, Nikkie! No, it's not easy to do, especially when one eats as many calories as you do! (I only wish I got that many every day... lucky!) I think you're making great progress. :flowerforyou:

    That is the beauty of plans such as Atkins and South Beach!! You shouldn't have to count calories with watching carbs..........Most everything you eat is lower in calories anyway (veggies and fruits). The protein you consume will make up the bulk of your calories...............

    I had the most awesome supper last night...............I went way over on my carb allowance, but no worries as I ate everything natural, no processed foods.

    I grilled:
    New York Strip Steak
    Asaparagus coated in olive oil, sea salt and pepper
    Grilled Sweet Potato - put on foil, drizzled butter and cinnamon on top while grilling..........

    Weighed in this morning 2 pounds lighter than I was!!!

    I have an appointment with Dr Daniels at the Center for Advanced Medicine here in St Louis at Washington University next Thursday, so hopefully this is the beginning of me getting the treatment I need.

    Thanks! I have been trying super hard with a lot of sucess (and a couple of bad days inbetween, but nearly as bad as they used to be lol)! I will be sure to check out your blog. They are very helpful and delightful to read!

    Way to go!!! Since I am unable to lose at this time due to what ever is going on in my Endocrine system, i will cheer you all on!!!
