stay at home mom?

If you are a sahm like me you may find it difficult to squeeze in time to workout. Here are just a few things I do that help. 1. use my son as a weight. By placeing my son on my feet and lifting him up and down it makes it fun for him and a work out for me. same effect as doing the leg lift at the gym without the gym. 2. play games like chase let your child chase you and you chase them taking turns great areobics exercise. 3. my son loves to go to the park so i slap sunscreen on both of us and chase him through the ocsticals. 4. doing number 1 except use your arms its the same principle as wight lifting and you can kiss them or make a silly face every time you lift them us and down. can do one armed or two. 5. i walk with my son i put him in his stroller with a cup of water and a snack and walk around the track at my housing comunity. if there isn't one around yours you can always find a park close to you that has a track. just a few ideas and you don't need a sitter or to spend money doing them. lets face it when it comes to being a sahm sometimes we get caught up in all the mommy stuff and forget ourselves. you can count cleaning to if its just light picking up and sweeping dance while you do it, if its moving stuff around make it more difficult by giving your kid a ride. Have fun and get as creative as possible if you have any other ideas please feel free to add i am always looking for new ways to workout around my kids and mommy duties.

I sat my 3 month old on the floor in front of me to do JMBR. I made faces the whole time at her so she was happy and it made it a litte more enjoyable. I also chase my 2 year old a lot, bounce her on her trampoline, used as a horse and walk around a lot. Being a SAHM is actually a lot of work for me. The only time I get to sit is when I nurse! And now that the weather is getting nice, it will be two trips a day to the park probably. I never get why people say a SAHM is sedentary- I wish!
