Going over my sugar allowance by a lot, help

I appear to be going over on my daily allowance of sugars most days.

When I'm on earlys I tend to have a slim fast shake as it keeps me full until the end of the shift but it contains all of my daily allowance. Should I stop having them?

Advice needed please.....

    If you can stop with the shakes, do so.

    But if you need them to meet your nutritional needs, then it will have to be a necessary evil until you figure out a way to incorporate actual whole foods instead of the shakes. Going "over" on your sugars, while not ideal, won't completely derail you. Just start finding ways to change your food habits.

    I don't get a chance to have a break while on the ward so it's become a good way of getting through the shift. I'm not on earlys everyday.
