Stretch Marks for Men

So I've started my first bulking routine and I've seen some growth (fantastic, lifting heavy) but I'm also starting to get stretch marks. I've had them for my whole life (as I remember them) on my inner thighs, but never elsewhere because I've never been overweight.

I had only ever seen them on black guys and darker skinned latinos (I'm a very light skinned latino) so I was very surprised. I'm getting them in front at the peak of my armpit on both sides, as well as a lateral stretch line at the base of my bicep (just above the elbow-pit).

Now they are starting off very light, no redness. Any other light skinned guys come across this? If they start off light, do they still fade or blend in at all over time?

My understanding is that stretch marks occur due to elasticity issues with the skin. While much is genetic, it is recommended that you use quality body lotion 2xDAILY to both prevent and aid in the healing of fresh marks. This will not remove, but will lessen the intensity of existing stretch marks, as well as scars, in some cases. Hope this helps.

I don't have light skin but i'm not that dark - my stretch marks are all over my shoulders and inner arms... I wear them proudly as 'war wounds' so-to-speak - others prefer to mask them... i've heard cocoa butter is good for this.

Honestly I've heard that you can't do anything for them, at all. Maybe use an anti-histamine to subdue some of the redness but that you just need to have them go away naturally. Avoid sunlight on fresh ones.

Any guys with white skin have these "light" stretch marks show up and fade over time, or are they still pretty visible later on?

I am not a guy, and I do not have my stretchmarks from building muscle...HOWEVER, I can tell you that I am a white female that got a lot of stretchmarks on my hips when I was going through puberty. Mine started out red and are now a faint white. They are definitely still visible all these years later, but they don't seem to become REALLY noticeable until I start getting a tan. Not sure if this info is helpful or not, but it has been my experience with them.

Yea I'm white and got more stretch marks than my ex during her pregnancy. Theyre fading now I think its just due to time.

I gained more weight than she did and faster. Supposedly sympathy weight.... I had never gained any kind of weight till that point in my life weird.

If you lift heavy I'm afraid they are a part of your life now. I started getting them in hs, but I am light skinned so you can't even really see them :ohwell: :ohwell:
