Hi. can you explain to me the difference between HRM and Body Medial Fit.
I have both and decided to wear both today at the same time to see the difference in calorie burn.
They were 7 calories apart for my 7 hours of sleep. They have been pretty much consistant until I went for a walk at lunch time. I walked for 39 mintues and my Body Media gave me a burn of 210 calories and my HRM was like 130 calories.
Right now I have a difference of 157 calories
Body Media at 1307 and HRM at 1150.
Thanks,

I understand that the HRM is good for exercise, but not for an all day calorie count.0

Bump, anyone??0

BMF is designed to be worn all day because it measures more than just heart rate. I think I read somewhere that HRMs do not accurately record caloric burn when the heart rate is below a certain level.0

HRM goes by heart rate. Body Media doesn't. It goes by body heat. Has 4 different censors I do believe.0
