Newbie, any help? Just got my wisdom teeth pulled.

What do I do? My thighs and legs are now sore for the first time out of five times of going to the gym for 45 mins to an hour only doing carido. But the last time, I did leg presses, I think thats what their called? Only 25 of those then left the gym and now my legs are useless! I didn't work out last night or tonight. I'm 133lbs trying to get to 120lbs, 5'3.

To top it off I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled tomrrow morning, so I know I won't be able to go work out or do anything. Not being able to at least walk scares me. I feel like I'm losing time to work out :(
Any suggestions or advice?

So I thought I posted this but turned out I didn't, this is my 2nd day since I got my teeth removed. I'm too scared to eat anything because I don't want food to get stuck in the holes. I haven't ate anything all day and it's not because I'm trying to lose weight that way but just too worried too eat. I know it's not good for you NOT to eat and I'm very good at eating breakfast and light snacking throughout the day but for now I can't. Only thing I can eat is yogurt... which that I do hate. So I bought the gogurt kind and froze them thinking it might help my mouth.

My thighs don't hurt as bad, still kind of sore but I feel like I can go work out tonight. Any tips or suggestions for anything will be greatly appreciated :) THANK YOU!

I had my wisdom teeth removed a few months ago my best tip is to take your workout easy! don't do anything to intense especially since your not eating a lot of calories! your body needs to mainly rest and your recovery will be faster if you do so. It took me three weeks to recover and about two months for my holes to close but i also had to dry sockets!

    wish you a fast recovery!

I don't think you need to worry about FOOD getting stuck in them. Air? Yes, which is why you aren't allowed to use straws. Eat, though. If you were given pain meds, you most likely need to eat so you don't vomit after taking them.

Also, as for the muscle soreness, glad it went away soon! Next time, start small. If you're new to strength training or even if you haven't done it in a few weeks, you need to start at a low weight and build yourself up. Otherwise the muscle soreness can be severe enough to keep you out of the gym for a week (especially if it's your legs that are jell-o. Hard to do anything when it hurts to walk!). So take it slow and eventually you'll be pumping out those high-weight reps!

Lastly, if you DO get sore, then just work out what isn't sore. Legs sore? Your entire upper body probably isn't. So go workout that stuff. Arms sore? Good! Go work out your legs.
