Any ladies working in the food industry??

I have worked as a waitress/bartender for years and it has been one of the biggest challenges to overcome in regards to eating healthy and maintaining a healthy lifetsyle. Even though I am constantly moving around and carrying tons of plates/glasses, I find it doesnt make up for the light night dinners, lack of healthy choices and the drinks with the girls after a long night/shift!

Any one else struggling with this?? I would love to be able to eat before work, but the dinner shift often starts before hunger is even an issue!

I've been Bartending/Managing bars for the past several years while I also go to school full time. It has definitely added an extra challenge into the equation! :)

ETA: Feel free to friend me, nice to have other people with similar schedules/challenges

I used to and it sucked because I'd work straight through mealtimes. I worked mornings sometimes which was 10-4 or I'd work 4-12. It wasn't a bad job, but I did eat late and eating late of course you don't want to cook.

I'm a restaurant cook. Actually...that doesn't make too much impact. I work days, and I don't eat the food where I work. Yes I could, and it is very good....but by the time I'm through making all that stuff its the last thing I'm interested in eating. I got a Fitbit recently and have been putting in 7 to 8 thousand steps a shift, just running around the kitchen.

I used to be part of a catering team, working for large functions like weddings and reunions. I found that I wouldn't have proper meals, I would just snack throughout the day but it all adds up at the end D: I wish I could help but I don't have any solution! I do understand what you mean though!
