new...hi

I am recently new to site and I am finding alot of great info.
! My youngest daughter will graduate high school this year and I turn 50 so I have decided its time to do something for me! I have a job where I am basically sit but have been trying to walk more, cut out all soda/pop. , cut down on/out snacks( eating more fruit and even veggies)and drinking more water. I have started using leslie sansone walk at home. I have done it some everyday and feel good, actually enjoy it. I want to be healthier and more active! I am going to try anyways....

    hi there :)! You can do it as long as you want it! By the way, you kind of remind me of my mother, she is around 54 (?) and started losing weight with me, and she is almost at her goal!

    Welcome to MFP community! It's great on here! Lots of encouragement and support from people! I turned 40 last year and have grown kids! It's always nice to connect with people that are closer to my age bracket.....weight loss tends to have different challenges after :wink: I have been training for a 10K ....it's in 2 weeks. Very excited about that. I used Jillian Micheal's 30 Day Shred, I have done Insanity (which was INSANE) and I go outside and hit the running trails which is what I like the most. Walking is great too!
