Insanity work out... No results?

I currently weigh 122 pounds and I'm 5"2. I try to stick to a 1200-1400 calorie diet. I just finished the 3rd week of the insanity program and I have had zero weight loss... As a matter a fact, I've gained 3 pounds! This is so discouraging! My stomach seems to be protruding more, and my skirts are tight. But my stomach does seem tighter/less flabby, which doesn't really make sense to me. Has anyone else had this problem? Should I be doubling up the workouts per day to see results?

I am actually having the same problem but I am in week 5. Gained almost 10lbs, eat super clean, workout, pants are too tight and feeling like i will never drop this.0

Muscle weighs more than fat, for one thing, go by inches or fat % no so much pounds. If that doesn't work look at caloric intake.0

I agree it's better to go by inches or body fat composition, but the whole muscle weighs more than fat pound for pound is a myth. A pound of fat is one pound; a pound of muscle is one pound. Unless you were talking about volume in that case, muscle is heavier by volume than fat.0 -

Did you follow the Insanity eating guide? What are your macros like? Are they close to the 40/20/40 for carbs, fats, protein?0 -
First you could be eating too little. Second, in the first month you will replace fat with muscle. I only lost 1 pound in the first month of Insanity but my measurements changed by alot. I wanted to loose 20 pounds, i lost 15 and still dropping. Stick with nutrition guide, dont double your workouts. Big mistake. Incease your intake. The only to fire up your metabolism is to feed it. Dont give up0
