The difference for me is a result of six months worth of hard work and eating more healthy ... still have a long way to go .... I'm 67 years old.

Hi, this is my first post. I'm 53 next week, 5'7" and 175lbs. It's great to see so many before and after pics, they keep me going. It's not so easy when you're getting on. The best thing is, once you start making progress you just don't feel so old anymore, never mind life begins at 40 or 50, it begins when you start to live it! Here's my before and during pics, I'm still overweight so I have a bit to go.
The before photos are from my holidays last year. I didn't start dieting and exercising (Power 90) until September when I weighed in at 230lbs.
Here's Day 1 of Power 90
Progress so far
I'm sorry there's so many pics, but I'm just so chuffed to have come this far. I hope this inspires others to try. It's never too late.
Wow! Great transformation! Very sexy0 -

Sorry, just before pics unless you count pictures from a few years back. I put on 40 pounds since 2010. I am 56 and am ready to get this weight off. If you are looking for another MFP friend, please consider me.0

I will be 51 in July, I only have in total a stone-1.5stone to lose so not a great deal, i'm on my way to my first half stone, did post a pic in the bikini thread(highly embarrasing) and have decided not to post any more till I reach my goal because having so little to lose I doubt if you would notice much difference till then.0

You are all looking so good & much younger than your stated ages :smokin: Hot stuff!

Started at 265 and made it to 170. Sadly, I have regained 56 BUT I am headed back down! I felt too good at 170 to not want it.

I will turn 55 in a week. I started this journey on January 5, 2013 after my son and daughter in law inspired me with their healthy choices. I have lost 45 lbs to date through making myself accountable with MFP and 90 minutes at the gym 7 days a week. The weight loss is wonderful, however, the best thing that has happened is I have been an insulin dependent diabetic for years and I now no longer have to take any insulin. That in itself is motivation enough for me to continue with this. It has been a total life style change for my husband and I and we are enjoying it. I still have a long way to go in the weight loss dept. but I now know I can do it. It can be done after the age of 50.

While digging through my computer pictures, I found my horrible side view from last February. I decided it was time for a new side view. So, I had my son take the new picture at 1:00AM, this morning. haha
