I'm worried I'll never get them. What exactly does this phrase mean?
I posted a thread here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/931873-my-30-day-shred-results That has a lot of information and breakdown of what it is eat, fat, protein, carbs, and their macro levels.
Most of my carbs are carbs from fruit or vegetables.
If I keep working (I don't mind slow progress).... will I ever achieve very flat abs with the way I eat? (I can open my food logging)

No idea. I really really need to get that done. I don't have a gym membership.

Tosca Reno had an article in the new Clean Eating magazine with this same title. It was mostly just about not eating things that would make you bloat, not really about having a defined stomach.

It would help to find out . You can do it yourself with a set of Callipers. You wanna aim to get your %BF down and your find that will help a great deal.
