I'm so darn proud of myself

A year ago I was so overweight and out of shape and today I just finished my first triathlon. Now granted, it was an indoor one but it was a great warmup for my first real Sprint Triathlon in 3 weeks. AND I finished 5th overall women's. And I am 50!! Not bad for an old broad, eh?

Exactly! I'm 55. I don't think I'll ever be doing a tri, but I ride my exercise bike 50 minutes a day, and it makes me feel so much better.
Congrats on taking control of your health. That's my reason for getting healthy. I figure if I'm going to be around a while, I want to be as healthy and mobile as possible.0 -

YUP getting healthy is what first propelled me on this journey. 5 blood pressure down to 2 and probably off them completely soon. Now I am doing this stuff to see what I am capable of :O)0 -
