what would you do with a recipe screw up? specifically-
I dumped jamaican jerk season in my brussels sprouts instead of the dill seeds... All i wanted was olive oil, dill seed and celery salt to roast the lil buggers.. but now they're gonna have a KICK!. maybe it was subconscious.. I AM listening to the joint on sirius radio (the reggae station! oye) this is to go with stuffed chicken breast, city chicken and broccoli and cheddar sauce. have a great day

brussel sprouts are nasty no matter what, just eat em0

Yes I'd have to agree. It's either finish what you've started & taste. Then you'll either be very happy or you'll have to toss them. Any chance you can rinse them off & start over?0

Agreed--if you haven't cooked them at all yet and you were just throwing on the spices before roasting, seems like you could rinse it off.0 -
Next time try them with onions, bacon, (not much) and maple syrup. Steam and enjoy! Yum!0

Never heard those terms to describe Brussels sprouts but it's fitting0 -
Mmmm, loves me a good brussels sprout!
I'd just rinse them and start over if possible. I've made recipe mistakes that were not reversible. Sometimes it turns out all right (a new discovery!) and other times I have to flush dinner and come up with plan B.0 -

I LOVE MFP! maple syrup??? well I ended up peeling off some of the most tainted leaves before roasting so the jerk wasn't killer. they were fine. not transcendental, but good. my cheddar sauce for broccoli made with almond milk (a new thing for me) worked... and the chicken breast stuffed with apple and a little city chicken (both prefab...) were just fine. happy here.. now I have to plan a shopping list for easter breads and rice pies...happy easter y'all0 -
you could always chop up the sprouts, mix it with some low fat plain yogurt and some chicken breast...make a casserole.0
