I havent been here for a while but I have been constantly working on my mental, spiritual, and physical self. I wanted to share that I completed my first 5k this past weekend! So excited! I learned something very valuable. The fat girl inside was saying you can't do it, oh look your calves are cramping stop and go home, your breathing hard just stop, this is out of your comfort zone just stop, anything negative you could think of I thought! My good friend Regina ( Who has lost 70+ lbs) was there and she kept telling me You can do this! We are not stopping until the finish line! and I started saying I can do this! and I said it with everystep 15 mins later 1st mile was done. Up until this point it has taken me 45 mins to 1 hr to complete a mile for some reason. Then mile 2 check point, I thought wow my body is such an amazing machine, and I pushed through! Mile 3 check point was I was like omg Im almost there lets get it! Then the finish line, I completely broke down, to think.. me Crystal Davis, someone who doesnt consider herself athletic, and has NEVER walked more than 1 mile, finished 3.1 miles in 1 hour!!!!! Im so happy and proud of myself. I wanted to share that with you all. I hope my story gives you strength in some way. You guys always inspire me! Im gonna try to post some pics.

(Fixed the pictures for you. you need to use [ img ] [ / img], but with no spaces. =) )

GOOD JOB! I'm doing my first 5K this weekend and I'm SUPER excited! I jogged/walked 3 miles Saturday and it felt AMAZING. Can't wait till I actually do the race and get my medal (yeah, I picked the race for the fact that they give you a medal... I want proof of my accomplishment!)

There's no problem with walking. Back in January when I signed up for the 5K, I never would have thought I'd be able to possibly run the whole thing, let alone walk it. What exactly is a digital run? I hear about them often, but never know exactly what they are.
