I'm coming up on my 58th birthday and would love to find friends who are in my age group and trying to lose weight. There are generally special health issues to consider at my age, like bad knees, that make many kinds of exercise impractical. I would love a diet buddy that has similar challenges. Good luck to everyone. This is my 31st annual "I really mean it this time" diet.

Feel free to add me. I'm Mike, 55, only have one bad knee, but have had to make my workouts take that into consideration. Can't do anything along the lines of squats or things like that. I have noticed that the weight I have lost has definitely decreased the pain in the knee. I started Jan 20, 2013, have lost 57 pounds and am looking for another 45 to "melt" away.

Thanks. My doctor wants me to lose 50 pounds. I have back trouble, hip pain, knee pain and tend to get plantar fasciitis really easily so I am a little nervous to try anything like walking. I bought a recumbent bike and so far that is easy enough but not very interesting.

I'm in the same boat! I have lost the first twenty and it has made a real big difference! I found tracking fairly easy but I am unimaginative in my diet. Because of years of lower body injuries and surgeries it makes it very hard to do cardio so I basically stick to weight lifting and real hot showers after! Ha!

Add me as a friend and we can do no wrong!
