I just made them..and I might be obsessed. Found it on pinterest! (Obviously).
Super super simple.
Get a big bowl.
Two over ripe bananas
One cup of oats.
Mix them together well (I used my hands..lol)
Add some chocolate chips or coconut or whatever you want!
Bake at 350 for 16 minutes.
DING DING DING!
When I added them to mfp, I found that each cookie (my batch had choc chip and was split into 16 cookie balls) was 57 calories!
YAY!
I've tried this and I'd have to add way too many chocolate chips to make it palatable.0 -
A link to the source would be polite.

Hey
Do you know a good sub for the oats. I hate having food allergies. half the time the good recipes I find have at least one thing in them I cannot eat :P I was thinking mochiko (powdered rice starch) or cooked sticky rice, but wanted to see if you had tried this with anything other than oats to see how it turned out.\

It's going to be pretty much entirely carbohydrates. A bit of fat from the chocolate chips, and a bit of protein from the oats, but by and large oats, bananas, and chocolate chips (due to the sugar) are carbohydrate foods.0 -
yea I was afraid of that....but I was looking for a nice sweet treat that wouldn't be TOOOOOO bad....0

Will have to try this. Thanks0

I just made these over the weekend and mine wound up making 30 cookies, i used the smallest scoop from pampered chef. And i to used the chocolate chips---equals 24 calories a cookie and they are soo, soo yummy!!!0 -
I have been making these for a long time now, they're great and very versatile. You can add anything you want. Btw, they're HEAVENLY when they're hot out of the oven and you put some peanutbutter on top (which will melt). /drools0
