My BF is at the mall and they have the MIO watch which is a normal pice of $80+ for $40. I'm wondering if anyone has used this watch and if it picks up weigh lifting and not just walking/running.

Not sure. It's a strapless watch though so it's not quite as accurate. I would look up some reviews online, maybe on Amazon or something.0

I have the Mio watch and I am upgrading to a chest strap/watch combo because mine is just too inaccurate. IT freezes when you are at your highest heart rate, etc. I would go against it. Oh and I have had my watch for over a month and am disappointed.0

I have one but went back to my Polar with the chest strap. The strapless ones are just too inaccurate because they can't take a continuous heart rate reading...unless you keep pressing your fingers over the buttons constantly which is such a hassle.0

I had a MIO and now I have polar f4 (with chest strap) when comparing the two, the MIO is not accurate.0
