My iPod is in need of a revamp. So what are some songs you love and really help get you pumped and motivated to keep going?

I gotta admit P!nk it one of my guilty pleasures.

I know this is going to sound lame... but Through the Fire and Flames by Dragonforce seriously gets me going fast. It's got a really fast tempo and is 7 and a half minutes long... makes the time go by!

    OTHERWISE...

Young London by Angels and Airwaves
Don't Leave Me and Online Songs by Blink-182
    Make You Smile by +44
I Don't Want to Know by The Donnas
Tidal, Bad Body Double, and Closing In by Imogen Heap
    Let Go by Frou Frou
    24 by Jem
Acid Rain by Liquid Tension Experiment
Pachuca Sunrise by Minus the Bear
Little Sister and 3s & 7s by Queens of the Stone Age
8 Frame and Tokyo by The Books
One Marathon, It's All the Same, Rip the Universe and Walking Around, Waiting Downtown by Reverie Sound Revue
    Redemption by Switchfoot
    Horchata by Vampire Weekend
God Moving Over the Face of the Waters by Moby - this song is long too, instrumental, and it doesn't seem like a typical workout song... but just imagine yourself looking over a huge ocean or a gorgeous sunset... it works for me.
    Believe by Yellowcard
Alive with the Glory of Love by Say Anything

    ...I like music. :-)

    anything by Rhianna :blushing:

At the Quarter Marathon I ran last year I was standing around with 2 male friends before the race started and I mentioned that I had to confess that Miley Cyrus' "Party in the USA" was on my iPod. One friend said "It may or may not be on my iPod, too" and the other said "Ditto. I cannot disclose that information at this time." The mental picture of these 2 very masculine men running the course with "yyyyeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaa it's a party in the USA!!" blasting in their ears was HILARIOUS  Just goes to show you that what you listen to regularly and what you listen to when working out, might be different!
  • Modern Love- David Bowie

I find myself searching for a lot of the songs in my body step class.

    http://www.totallylesmills.com/site/BODYSTEP

A lot of the songs are remixes from current artists and are really motivating.

Right now in my "gym music" category on my ipod is:

Anxiety - Black Eye Peas (older song)
Bad Girlfriend - Theory of a Deadman
The Bad Touch - Bloodhound Gang (I know, cheesy, but catchy beat.)
    Crazy B*tch - Buckcherry
    Don't Stay - Linkin Park
    Figure 09 - Linkin Park
    Faint - Linkin Park
    Gotta Be Somebody - Nickelback
Hate My Life - Theory of a Deadman
If Today Was Your Last Day - Nickelback (great warm-up of cool-down song!!!)
Just Dance - Booty Style remix
    Lifeline - Papa Roach
One Step Closer - Linkin Park
Paralyzer - Finger Eleven (LOOOVE this song!)
    Prayer - Disturbed
    Right Round - Flo Rida
    Rockstar - Nickelback
Something in Your Mouth - Nickelback
    Stupify - Disturbed
    Tik Tok - Ke$ha

I'm working on revamping and changing my "Gym Music" playlist as well. I need some new stuff to add to the mix.

For something different you should look up the Korean singer BoA. She does sing some ballads but stuff like "Energetic" is great for working out.
