OK, here's the deal...I'm stuck. Simply stuck with my weight loss and my thighs look like a big bucket of cottage cheese. This coming Friday, I am meeting with a trainer to have my body fat percentage measured, revamping my diet to increase calories/protein/good fats. I am a tad bit nervous since I have been eating around 1600 calories for some time now. When I spoke with this trainer previously, he told me that I am going to have to eat more calories. I am excited to do this challenge!
Instead of doing 30 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weights, I am going to be doing 20 minutes cardio, 40 minutes weights. Every 30 days my measurements will be taken again to record the amount of change. I was informed that the scale may go up at first, but to not be alarmed. Actually, he told me to throw my scale away.
I guess you can say that I'm looking for encouragement, guidance, and proof that this will work. Yes, I realize that the proof will need to be given by myself. However, if any woman out there has done something similar, please, let me know how it is going for you!!
I love the look of muscle and right now, I feel pretty determined to get these thunder thighs of mine GONE!

And of course I forgot to take before pictures! Anyway, I was shocked that my initial body fat measurement was only 19%. I honestly thought it would have been higher. To date, I have lost 4lbs of body fat. I go back in the next couple of weeks to be measured again. Keep in mind, I have had 2 trips since I started this. The trainer said he was rather impressed that I had a loss with one of the trips being the week before weigh-in.
What is more amazing, is that I have noticed a difference in my cottage cheese thighs. There is still a lot of work to be done, but I'm getting it done!0
