Mine is from AVON. It is really nice and was about $40. I really like it. It is similar to a weight watchers scale.

I have the weight watchers scale and I love it. I think I paid about $35 for mine.

Can I buy the WW scale at the store or do I have to go to a meeting?

I don't live in Canada, but I recall a post where someone talked about a store called Canadian Tire, which apparently has more than just tires, since they mentioned having purchased a scale from there. More recently, I saw a post where someone mentioned that this store had a food scale on sale, so if you have one of their locations near you..maybe that is a possibility.

BTW, saw your profile. In what part of BC is Maple Ridge located? I have family in BC, so have a vague idea where certain places are, but have never heard of your location.

Thanks for the tip about Canadian Tire, went there tonight and bought a WW scale for the big weigh in tomorrow. You'd think I might come up with canadain tire on my own considering I love it...lol.

Maple Ridge is about 45 min east of Vancouver. Where abouts are your family?

So glad you found a scale:drinker: :drinker:

My mom was born in Saskatchewan (see I even know how to spell it!!:noway:  ), and most of her family ended up in BC. I have a cousin who lives in West Van, and multiple cousins and an aunt in the area of Surrey and White Rock, another aunt in Burnaby, and one cousin in Port Coquitlam, and a niece going to school in Alberta, (I think). She is in pre-med.

Haven't been up there in about three years (I am on Wa/Or border in the States). My mom made the last trip with me, but she is 94 now and travelling that far is too much for her, so she burns up the telephone wires between here and there!!

Port Coquitlam is about 15 minutes west of Maple Ridge. My husband's parents live in PoCo, as we call it !
I went to school in Bellingham.
